USA: We want you to use the template from our website. We give you several lines to write your essay plus fill in all the requested info.

Can I write in pen?
Yes. Write with whatever instrument helps you write your best. We ask that you please write dark enough that the judges will be able to read your work. Check before you send it to us that it is eligible. If it’s too light makes it very difficult for the judges.

When and how will I be notified if I won?
We will send an email to your contact person (parent or teacher) approximately 4-6 weeks after the contest closes. Shortly afterwards, we will post winners to our social media sites, if you and your parents have given permission to have your name publicized.

How many winners in each grade?
            There will be 3 winners for each grade. (1st, 2nd & 3rd)

How many Creative Awards are given?
We award one winner for each grade for having the most creative answer.

What will a student win?
You will receive a certificate, a medal, plus a prize from one of our sponsors. Additionally, the opportunity to be on our social media platform and local publicity. We sometimes get requests from tv stations, magazines or radio for active cursive champions.

Are there any other awards?
USA: We will select 3 teachers for their enthusiasm and support of cursive.

Where do you send the awards?
We will send the awards to the principal or teacher of the school or the contact person if you are home-schooled. If you are located in our area, we will deliver it in person. Our goal is to get them to you so your school can make an announcement about your achievement and inspire other fellow students.

Will my entry be posted to your social media sites?
Only if your parents give us permission to post your winning and first name, last initial and hometown. If we mention the school, we would need permission from them as well.

How do we notify the local media if I’ve won?
We will send you a template for a press release and you will fill in the details. Additionally, we will give you the “How to’s” on how to proceed and be available to assist wherever need be.

Can we send you a picture to post?
Yes. We love getting pictures of students receiving their awards! It helps to get other students enthused about cursive writing. Once again, we only need permission from your parents and/or school.
