Kids know that cursive is cool. Our mission is to provide them with the opportunity to learn faster, spell better and connect with cursive. Our mandate is to bring recognition to the importance of handwriting in brain development.
Our vision: Handwriting is a life-long skill that should be available, taught, and practiced as part of a basic education for all children, regardless of whether they receive their education through public, private or home-schooling. We want to connect with legislators, corporations, associations, parents, educators, grandparents and all who believe our kids deserve to know how to read and write cursive.
The Campaign for Cursive (C4C) committee got its start in 2012 at the Southern California chapter of the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation (AHAF), a 501 (c) (6) non-profit. Founded in 1967, AHAF is an educational organization that continues to provide opportunities for learning and growth in the field of handwriting. The C4C committee has expanded to include members around the US and Canada.
"Campaign for Cursive" and "Cursive is Cool" and its logo are trademarked properties of this non-profit group.
The Campaign for Cursive is all non-profit. We are organized and operated completely by volunteers. We are dedicated individuals, committed to donating our time to bring information about cursive for research, media, and more, to public awareness.
